Art means everything

Upcoming, 22 March 2020

Well-known modern Masters from the collections of the Chabot Museum and Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, side-by-side for the first time in the modernist villa, offer a fresh illustration of Dutch and international expressionism. With a.o. Monet, Picasso, Munch, Jawlensky, Van Dongen, De Kooning, Appel, Constant, Chabot. Rotterdam gems strung together into a strong narrative, which will be a joy to (frequently) behold.

This exhibition is part of ‘Boijmans Next Door’.  Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen’s collection is fanning out across Rotterdam. Around 500 masterpieces are finding places in eleven exhibitions in eight neighbouring locations. A major collaboration between Rotterdam art venues.
